Yes, we can easily give you a quote on framing your artwork, just bring it in for a no obligation quote.

I’m nervous about choosing the wrong frame/mat.

We help you through every part of the design process and we guarantee our framing designs.  If you aren’t completely satisfied with the colors and design of your finished framing project, we will make it right.   We want you to be 100% happy with your custom framing!

What can you frame?

Over the years, we have framed almost everything.  Besides works on paper, we frame textiles, paintings on canvas, needlework, as well as objects (such as sports jerseys, christening gowns, shells, tools, fossils, plates, even a smashed computer) – most anything that you can think of.    We welcome the most basic framing job to the most challenging.

Do you do all the framing in house?

Yes!  We cut all the materials (mats, glass and mouldings) and do all the assembly in our building!  This is all done by our experienced staff.

What if I just need a mat (or glass), can you help me with that?
Sure!  We can provide any part of your framing project.

Do you frame needlework?

At Pacific Frame, we are particularly skilled at framing cross stitch and textiles.  We enjoy designing and framing handmade needlework and textile artwork.

How long does it take to get something framed?
Usually from design to completed project takes approximately two weeks although we do offer expedited services.  If you choose one of our hundreds of readymade frames the turn-around time gets cut to just days or even hours.

Do you offer different types of glass?
We have many types of glass and acrylic available.  We offer everything from premium clear glass to conservation museum glass.  We will help you choose the correct glazing for your artwork and environment.

How much will it cost to frame my print?
There are many factors that affect the pricing of custom framing, from the finished size and the number and type of mats, to the type of glass, mounting method and frame choice. The best way to get a good idea of the cost of framing your item is to bring it in so our designers can design it with you and provide you with a quote. We would love to explore all the options available to meet your needs as well as your budget.  There is no obligation and we can accommodate most budgets.

I have a limited budget for framing, can I still get a custom frame for my odd size poster?

YES!  We have a poster frame special where cut the frame to the exact size of your artwork, so you get a custom cut frame at an incredible price.  Our poster frame special is a 1” black frame, premium clear glass, foam core backing and assembly.    Prices start at $45.00.

What is conservation framing?

Conservation Framing employs the use of materials that have been proven to protect and maintain art in as close to its original condition as possible. Conservation mounting of artwork is 100% reversible with no damage to the artwork. If it’s worth framing, it’s worth protecting!

What does a mat do?

A mat serves two functions. First, the mat creates air space between the art and glass for conservation reasons.   Second, it is a decorative element that provides a visual transition between the art and the frame.  A mat also helps to keep the art from feeling crowded.

Are your materials archival / acid free?
Yes.  Conservation is key.  We are in the business of preserving and protecting your art.

Do you do shadowboxes?

We love working on shadowbox projects.  These projects are not just protecting and displaying precious items, they are telling a story.
